Product Description

PVC sandals are covered under IS 6721:1972.This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, and testing methods for PVCsandals manufactured through the injection moulding process.The standardapplies to the following two types of sandals:

Type 1: One-part sandals

Type 2: Two-part sandals

The PVC sandals shall be made of a basicmaterial that meets the physical requirements specified in the standard. Thesandals' design shall be agreed upon between the purchaser and the supplier.The last's dimensions must be in accordance with IS 1638:1960. Type 1 PVCsandals must be manufactured in a single piece using injection moulding. Type 2sandals must be manufactured in two parts using injection moulding, and the twoparts will then assemble. The PVC sandals must be manufactured in such a waythat they are free of shrinkage, burning, wrapping, and cold flow marks.
