This standard specifies the requirements and sampling and testingmethods for slippers, rubber of any colour, intended for hospital use, or otherlight-duty footwear. The slippers must be made in accordance with the patternshape and design specified in the standard. Rubber components must be made fromsuitable compounded natural or synthetic rubber or their blends, with orwithout the use of reclaimed rubber, and must meet the physical requirementsspecified in the standard. Materials/components shall conform to requirementsas defined in the standard.
